Providing Care, Stability and Hope

Founded in 2001, the Mothers’ Union Children’s Home (MUCH) offers temporary accommodation and compassionate care for children referred through national child protection services. Guided by Christian values and community support, MUCH provides a safe environment where children can heal, learn, and grow.

Our Mission

To provide temporary accommodation and care for vulnerable children within a secure, nurturing, and supportive environment that promotes stability, dignity, and development.

On Tuesday 2nd June 2026, MUCH was honoured to welcome The Most Reverend Phillip Wright, Archbishop and Metropolitan of the Church in the Province of the West Indies, during a special visit to the Home in San Fernando.

The visit reflected the continued support and encouragement of the Anglican community towards the mission of MUCH and its commitment to providing a nurturing environment for vulnerable children.

Working Alongside Child Protection Authorities

MUCH works alongside the Children’s Authority of Trinidad and Tobago and other child protection agencies to ensure the safety, welfare, and support of vulnerable children.

The principles guiding the Children’s Authority are rooted in the protection of children’s rights and the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child.
